That line has been on Blakemores' own paperwork for years, and it still holds. A single gate that drags on the path is a job. A 40 metre Colorbond boundary before Christmas is a job. So is one broken panel after a storm.

What we build
Fencing, gates and retaining, done as one job
Most blocks need more than one thing. A fence that needs a retaining wall under it. A boundary run that needs a gate in the middle of it. Blakemores does the lot, which is why it goes up in one go instead of three.
Retaining walls and fence packages
Timber and concrete sleeper retaining, levelled and drained properly, with the fence built on top as one job by one crew. No juggling two trades and two start dates.
Modular walls
Rendered look modular panels for street frontages, and acoustic walls where road or neighbour noise is the problem. A far better answer than another metre of sheet metal.
Timber fencing
Lap and cap, closed paling, horizontal slat screens and traditional pickets. Treated pine that weathers the way it should, built to take the Hunter wind.
Pool compliant fencing
Aluminium pool fencing and gates set out to the gaps and heights the rules actually ask for, so the certifier signs it off the first time and the pool gets used this summer.
Aluminium and custom gates
Swinging, sliding and track free. Horizontal slat, decorative, picket and one offs drawn up for the gap you have got rather than the gap a catalogue assumed.

A family outfit, run out of East Maitland
Ben has been trading under his own name since 2005 and running Blakemores Fencing across the Hunter ever since. It is still a family operated company: Ben quotes the work, Ben and the team build it, and the name on the sign is the name on the licence.
